Indus Constellation

Indus is a southern celestial hemispheric constellation. Indus lies south of the Ecliptic which is different to the Celestial Equator. The Celestial Equator is the projection of the terrestrial equator into space. The Ecliptic is the path that the Earth takes round the Sun.

Got this in May last week morning time south sky. The constellation name means The Indian . It was created to fill the void in the star maps similar to how a few other constellations were created as well. It is supposed to represent a man holding arrows in his hand.
