Auriga Constellation

AURIGA:
It is a beautiful pentagonal constellation that is almost circumpolar, making it visible most of the year round, but best seen during autumn and winter. “The Charioteer”, as it is also known as, contains the 6th brightest star in the night sky, Capella.

It is a yellow star, meaning “small female goat” in Latin, Capella may appear as a single star to the naked eye, but it is in fact a binary system in which the components are both binary stars in themselves, one pair being giant stars, and the other a pair of diminutive red dwarfs. Other stars

that recognised with names in this constellation are Menkalinan, Mahasim, Elnath and Hassaleh.
